If Alien: Isolation set a gold standard for Alien games so did well Aliens: Colonial Marines for a new unflattering poop standard. The hype before Aliens: Fireteam Elite, which will be released tomorrow, has definitely not been high among the FZ people, but maybe it’s not as bad as many feared …?
The average rating on Metacritic for pc-, PS5and Xbox Seriesversions are rippling around the 70’s (it is also released for PS4 and XB1. It is a cut that really does not hint at a masterpiece, but neither is a crash. Gamesradar gives it 3.5 (out of 5) and notes one “solid co-op shooter”, but are unsure if the game lasts long. Videogamer lands on 6 out of 10, and thinks it has better shooting than Outriders, but that the latter takes us to a more enchanting world.
Maybe this is something for the reaback? Definitely a better fate than the manure pile.
