The Rasmus band’s recent Instagram post is sparking discussion on social media.
The band published a black picture on their account with the words RIP (Rest in peace) in purple text, meaning “rest in peace”. Below the text is the date October 25th.

The post has sparked speculations about whether the band will release a song called RIP on Friday next week, or whether the band will perhaps announce that they are quitting at that time. The confusing update divides opinion in the comments section of the post.

Founded in 1994, The Rasmus made a comeback in 2022 when the band won New Music competition with his piece Jezebel. With the win, the band represented Finland at the Turin Eurovision Song Contest. The Rasmus finished 21st in the final of the competition.
In the same year, the band released Rise-album, but no new music has been heard from the same band. The band’s hits include, among others In the Shadows, No Fear, F-F-F-Falling and Livin’ in a World Without You.
