NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 graphics cards, which do not have an Etherea mining power limiter, have become a much sought-after product, and we no longer even notice that miners are desperately trying to turn off or bypass the limiter. After all, even before, they would not have succeeded had it not been for NVIDIA itself releasing drivers into the world in which there was no limiter, which will probably not happen again. And it’s not just about preparing it from the drivers, but above all about the cards accepting such modified software, and that’s what the proclaimed cooperation between drivers, firmware and hardware is about.

Now Ethera miners have no choice but to accept AMD cards, lower NVIDI performance, or look for older versions of cards. That’s right now going on in Vietnam, where at least one of the vendors already specializes in building mining rigs from such cards, in this case including many rare versions of the Asus RTX 3080 Gundam series (exactly RTX 3080 ROG STRIX GUNDAM).
