The answer to this question is not easy and must take into account all the factors that condition our urban life: health, education, safety, transport, pollution … and thus up to 11 relevant criteria, as has been shown in a study, giving the following results, from the best Spanish cities according to different criteria:
Top 10 cities with the best quality of life
1st) Pamplona 62: its good scores in health and education have part of “fault” in its success.
2nd) Vitoria 58: health, urban landscape and environment are its strengths.
3º) Gijón 57: stands out in cultural offer, health and education.
4º) Bilbao 56: despite a very bad grade in housing, the health system and the offer of culture and services help it to be among the first.
5º) Logroño 56: it gains positions thanks to its offer of shops and services.
6º) Albacete 55: like Logroño, the good evaluation of shops, restaurants, supermarkets and other businesses is its main asset.
7º) Oviedo 55: stands out in urban landscape.
8º) Valladolid 54: good offer of shops and services.
9º) Santander 54: it makes a place in the top 10 thanks above all to its healthcare system.
10º) Badajoz 52: despite the poor valuation of its labor market, other aspects (health, education, housing) make it the southernmost place in Spain where one still lives on the approved one.
