14 h 45. – A German driver was killed this Sunday between noon and 1 p.m., when he left the road during the eighth special of the Rallye de Lorraine. His co-pilot was transported in serious condition to the Central Hospital of Nancy.

14 h 15. – While the last two specials remained to be disputed this Sunday afternoon, the race was stopped by the organizer following a “serious racing event” in SS 8. The drivers joined Baccarat, the nerve center of the event but will not return to Nancy, place where the arrival of the event was to take place around 4.30 p.m.

11 h 17. – Quentin Giordano doubles the bet. After winning the first special of the day, the Nancy driver did it again on the ES Le Saintois by winning with 8”3 ahead of William Wagner (6’18”1 against 6’26”4 ). Also in the fight for the podium, Antonin Mougin, Jean-Renaud Marchal and Thomas Anacleto follow, respectively 12”4 and 16”5 behind Giordano on this special.
Overall, William Wagner controls with a 1’38”5 lead over Antonin Mougin, over Thomas Anacleto (1’45”1). Quentin Giordano climbs back to fourth place at 1’57”6. Jean-Renaud Marchal closes the bench of the Top 5 at 2’12”2 from Wagner.
The pilots will meet at the beginning of the afternoon for the third special of the day (Rozelieures-Clayeures, 9.9 kms), the penultimate of the event. If victory reaches out to William Wagner, the fight for the podium is on!

10 h 45. – Quentin Giordano wins the first special of the day. At the wheel of his Polo, the Nancy driver achieved the best scratch time on the Loromontzey special (12.190 km) in 5’58”1. William Wagner (Citroën C3) is second at 1”1, Antonin Mougin (Skoda Fabia) third at 4”1. Thomas Anacleto and Jean-Renaud Marchal completed the top five of this special on Citroën C3, respectively 11”3 and 15 ” behind Giordano.
Overall, William Wagner further increased his lead. The Vosges rider has 1’34”4 on Antonin Mougin, who dislodged Thomas Anacleto from second place by 2.5 seconds. Jean-Renaud Marchal is fourth at 2’04 and Quentin Giordano fifth at 2’05”9.

9 h. – Hello everyone and welcome to this second day of the Rallye de Lorraine! Around 4:30 p.m., we will know the winner of the 65th edition of the event organized by Jean-René Dubois and his team from ASAC Lorrain. A pilot stands out very clearly after the first day, William Wagner. Winner of the last two editions, the Vosges has won four of the six specials on Saturday at the wheel of his Citroën C3 and is 1’26”7 ahead of Thomas Anacleto (C3), 1’31”4 over Antonin Mougin (Skoda Fabia). Jean-Renaud Marchal (Citroën C3) is 4th at 1’50”1 while Quentin Giordano, victim of a puncture in the first special, is relegated to fifth place at 2’07 ”. The promised mano-à-mano between Wagner and Giordano came to an end … But if Wagner rushes towards the final victory, the battle for the podium will be exciting.
