As is known, dengue is caused by mosquito bites Aedes Aegypti female. These mosquitoes often incubate their eggs in puddles of water. No wonder the mosquito population increases rapidly in the rainy season.
When do Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes operate?
The Sub Coordinator for Vector Infectious Diseases and Zoonoses, DKI Jakarta Health Office, Roosvita Nur Aini, said that the Aedes Aegypti mosquito operates during rush hour or rush hour, such as 08.00 – 10.00, then 14.00 – 16.00 in the afternoon.
When a person is bitten, new symptoms will appear on the third day after the bite. Symptoms include high fever on days 1-3, severe headache, nausea, difficulty eating, rash or red spots. Another and more severe condition is bleeding.

“In our health facilities, there is an early examination to determine whether there is dengue virus in the body. This examination starts from days 1-3 of high fever, by checking blood,” said Dr. Roosvita, as summarized from the official website of the Jakarta Health Service, Monday (31/01/2022).
What are the symptoms of people with Immunocompromised?
Doctor Roosvita said the most visible difference was only in the fever. If normal humans will feel a high fever, but for immunocompromised sufferers they will experience a normal fever but other symptoms such as loss of appetite, headaches and others are the same.
“Therefore, it is better if an immunocompromised patient experiences other symptoms of dengue fever besides fever, immediately go to the nearest health facility,” he concluded.
