The Chilean Meteorological Directorate (DMC) issued a notice for winds and rainfall between the regions of Coquimbo and Biobío, in the central area of the country, for the next few days.
So, for this Monday “normal to moderate wind is expected” in the mentioned area, “condition precedent to entry of the frontal system”says the report of the entity dependent on the General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC).
On Tuesday, meanwhile, there will be “Rainfall of normal intensity concentrated in the period between early morning and afternoon from the southern section of the Coquimbo Region to the O’Higgins Region”.
All of the above will occur, mainly, “in the coastal and dry coastal sectors”.

Due to this phenomenon, the National Emergency Office (Onemi) issued Preventive Early Warning for the regions of Coquimbo, Valparaíso, O’Higgins, Maule and Biobío.
