The rain continues in Oman: storm warning

Muscat: The rain continues in various parts of Oman. Meteorologists say rain will continue in many parts of the country on Thursday. Precipitation is intensifying as part of low pressure formation. Forecasters predict that there is also the possibility of thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, civil defense and ambulance rescued a family of three trapped in Wadi at Khasab Vilayam, Musandam Governorate. They were trapped in the plaintiff’s car and were taken out from inside the car by rescuers. Authorities have ordered that people must not step onto the wadis and that vehicles must not be unloaded on the wadis.

The wind speed will be between 28 and 45 km/h. Waves of two to three meters are also expected along the coasts of Musandam and North Bathina governorates. The authorities have also asked people to be extremely cautious in case of continuous rain.
