During these holidays, for the second year in a row, the “Race of Champions” (ROC) race will start on the parallel ice track in Sweden, in the Baltic Sea (less than 100 kilometers from the Arctic Circle). A year ago, the winners of the Nations Cup were Oliver and Peter Solberg, who beat the USA team in the final. Meanwhile, none other than Sebastian Loeb became the ‘Race of Champions’ champion, beating the now former F1 pilot Sebastian Vettel, for whom this was the fourth such title.
This year, too, the race will take place on the ice, where the athletes will have the following cars at their disposal: Cupra Urbanrebel Concept (435 HP, 510 NM), Zeroid X1 (335 HP), Polaris RZR (181 HP) and Supercar Lites (320 HP).

This year too, a star-studded line-up will take to the start, represented by athletes from such racing series as Formula 1, Formula 2, IndyCar, Le Mans, W Series, WRC, World RX, Nitro RX and X-Games.
The draw for the competition has taken place, which will bring together exciting duels in the first round. The competition will start on Saturday with the Nations Cup, where the draw has brought together Norway (Peter and Oliver Solberg) and France (Sebastian Loeb and Adrien Tambi (2022 eTouring Car World Cup Champion)) in the first pair of quarter-finals. Pairs like Sweden (Johan Kristofferson and Matias Ekström) against the Nordic team (Tom Christensen and Felix Rosenqvist) should also be noted. The USA team, with Travis Pastrana and Tanner Faust, will compete against the world team, which will be represented by Felipe Drugovic and Thierry Neuville. Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher will represent the German national team for the second year in a row.
The ‘Race of Champions’ champion will be determined on Sunday, and here too the draw was full of surprises. In the 1/8 finals, pairs such as Peter Solberg vs. Oliver Solberg, Sebastian Loeb vs. Thierry Neuville, Johan Kristofferson vs. Tanner Faust, Travis Pastrana vs. Matias Ekstrom should definitely be noted.
