Pertamina started applying for the use of the QR Code for the purchase of subsidized diesel from 1 December 2022. For the first phase, the application of the subsidized Solar QR Code applies to 11 regions, namely Pandeglang Regency, Ciamis Regency, Kuningan Regency, Jepara Regency, Cilacap Regency, Wonogiri Regency, Mojokerto Town, Kediri Town, Lumajang Regency, Banjarmasin Town and Payakumbuh Town.
For those who have registered, it is sufficient to show the QR Code to the service station staff to scan it before making a transaction. You can print this QR code and paste it on the vehicle. Or, if you don’t want to be disturbed, show the QR Code on your mobile phone.
With the QR Code, the purchase of diesel is limited. The amount of the restriction refers to the Presidential Regulation n. 191 of 2014 concerning the prices of supply, distribution and retail sale of petroleum fuels (BBM) and Decree of the Head of Downstream Oil and Gas Regulation number 04/P3JBT/BPH Migas/KOM/2020.
The decision stated that there were three vehicles which could use the subsidized diesel with a pre-established quota. Private vehicles, for example, are allocated a maximum of 60 liters per day. Then for the public transport of people or goods on 4 wheels a maximum of 80 liters per day. Finally, there is the public transport of people or goods with 6 or more wheels of 200 liters per day.
For those who use subsidized diesel but have not registered with MyPertamina, they will only have a maximum of 40 liters per day.
“MUST BE REGISTERED! Starting December 1, 2022, a test will be carried out on the use of QR codes for the purchase of subsidized solar fuel in different areas,” MyPertamina’s Instagram wrote.
For those of you who have not registered, you can do so online via subsiditepat.mypertamina.id or offline by visiting the registration booth in a designated area. To register, there are several documents that need to be prepared as follows:
1. Photo ID
2. STNK photos front and back (open)
3. Vehicle view photos (front and side view)
