The puppet theater in Wettingen offers an exciting program for the whole family for nine weekends. Theater Roos & Humbel, Theater Gustavs Schwestern, Theater Ferdinande, Theater Zitadelle, Theater PhiloThea and Theater Kuckucksheim will be guests, as reported by puppetry.
The season begins on Saturday 22 October, with the premiere of the theater show “Drüü chliini Fischli – Stories from the sea” with the Roos & Humbel Theater. Kaufmann & Co. and Sven Mathiasen also celebrate a Swiss premiere with their new comedy “Three Little Pigs”.
Enjoy dinner at the theater before the show
The puppet theater also shows an exciting program for the adult audience over three evenings. In November, for example, Kaufmann & Co. recite “Georg & Fred – One Last Time Shakespeare”. In January and March, two groups will be guests of the puppet theater for the first time: the Zitadelle theater in Berlin will play “Der Yark” and the Kuckucksheim theater will play “Glopf an die Himmelsdür – A Franconian Western”.
On the occasion of these three plays and the premiere of “The Three Little Pigs”, the puppet theater and the Freihof restaurant in Wettingen offer a theatrical dinner. For CHF 65, visitors can enjoy a seasonal three-course menu in the Freihof restaurant and then watch a puppet show in the Gluri Suter Huus.
As the theater writes, “hot ears” have become indispensable during the autumn and spring holidays and during the Advent season. Every four nights, Sven Mathiasen reads a new and exciting story. (the)
