With his statements at the conference of the far-right party Alternative for Germany (AfD), Elzeser won a standing ovation from the audience.
He called Home Secretary Nancy Feser a fascist, Defense Minister Boris Pistorius a war criminal, and insulted Green Party leader Richard Lang.
“And, of course, I will not be forbidden to say – I am a Putin supporter,” said Elzeser, earning applause from the audience.
On July 16, the German Ministry of the Interior banned Elzeser’s magazine “Compact” because it said it was “the main mouthpiece of the anti-rightist camp”.
However, Elzeser Zero won an initial victory in court, when the judges expressed doubts about the proportionality of the government’s actions and suspended the ban, at least for the time being.
The decision by the German Federal Administrative Court means that publication of the magazine can resume, subject to certain conditions.
However, the court has not made a final decision on the case yet and will continue further proceedings.
Elzeser told the AfD conference in Magdeburg that his legal success showed that “victory is possible”.
He also praised the AfD on its way to power in the next Saxony-Anhalt state election.
