The Attorney General ordered the formation of a team to urgently investigate the killing of the victim, Salma, a student at Al-Shorouk Academy near Zagazig Court.
Today, Tuesday, the ninth of August, the Public Prosecution received a notification from the police that the accused, Islam Muhammad, had deliberately committed the crime of killing the victim, Salma, as he stabbed her several times with a knife he was in his possession, near the Zagazig Court, while she entered the entrance to the property of one of her friends’ work, and that he The accused was arrested as soon as he entered the premises where the incident occurred.
Accordingly, the Public Prosecution Office moved to the crime scene, accompanied by the forensic doctor and the experts of the Public Administration to investigate the forensic evidence. The Public Prosecution seized the recording devices of the surveillance machines in the vicinity of the place, the weapon used in the crime, the phones of the victim and the accused, and is being referred to the Public Prosecution for questioning.
The Public Prosecution commissioned the forensic doctor to sign the anatomical character on the body of the victim to indicate the injuries, determine the cause of death and how it occurred, as well as examine the knife used in the incident, and the effects attached to it, and ordered the examination of all physical traces raised at the scene of the accident, and identified a number of Witnesses who saw the incident during its commission to hear their testimony, and investigations are being completed.
