SEGA and Sports Interactive (SI) have announced that the PS5 version of the Football Manager 2023 (FM23) console has been delayed due to an unexpected issue during the platform approval process, scheduled for November 8th.
Miles Jacobson, SI Studio Director, said, “We have been working with our affiliates for several weeks to try to resolve this issue, but we are very sorry to inform you of this. In particular, delaying the release was a very difficult decision for us as it was a project that many SI employees have been working on for a long time. We will do our best to make FM23 available to PS5 fans as soon as possible. “
Subsequently, SEGA and SI said they would update the relevant information in the near future. Customers who pre-purchased through the PSN digital store will be subject to cancellation and refund processing in accordance with the SONY platform policy. The refund process is automatic without the buyer having to take any other action.
FM23 on other platforms proceeds without setbacks for the official release on November 8th.
