As part of its Aviventa Cultura program, the Provincial Council celebrates European Music Day on June 21 with a concert by the Vigo soul, funk and rock group The Mirror Music – composed by Alejandro Vasconcellos, Tania Rodríguez, Óscar Román, Rubén Carrera and Gorio Álvarez– in the open air outside the Olívica provincial headquarters, on Chao Street. To attend, it is necessary to reserve a ticket in the email [email protected]. The performance, which will begin at 8:00 p.m., is aimed at all audiences, although, especially, at young people.
In this way, the institution joins this celebration in which music professionals take to the streets annually to share their work. The provincial president, Carmela Silva, emphasized the need to recognize her role, especially now, during the pandemic. “We will be celebrating music and that we can already begin to breathe and feel freer.
