Maastricht Aachen Airport will remain open, the Limburg provincial government has decided. There were 26 votes in favor of keeping the airport, 21 members of parliament voted against.
There is one caveat: the Provincial Council must first agree on a partnership with co-shareholder Schiphol. Airport.
