The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) presented this Saturday the injunction against Jacqueline Carolina Cruz Martínez, accused of having beaten her 5-year-old daughter to death on April 25 in the district of San Martín.
According to investigations, the woman hit her daughter because the girl had not cleaned the house. The Prosecutor’s Office accuses the woman of aggravated homicide, abandonment and neglect of people and child abuse to the detriment of her daughter.
The police also captured the girl’s father Carlos Francisco Sosa Peréz, who is being prosecuted for abandonment and neglect of people as well as child abuse under the modality of commission by omission.
The judge set the initial hearing for next Tuesday, May 13 in the Second Peace Court of San Martín.
