The prosecution of Peru investigates a documentary falsification in the taxi credentials in Tacna

The Official Corruption Crimes Prosecutor’s Office registered the Deputy Manager of Public Transport and Transit of the Provincial Municipality of Tacna (MPT).

The events occur as a result of an investigation into alleged irregularities in the issuance of credentials for the taxi service.

As reported by the Public Ministry, the proceedings by the prosecutor Erwin Gutiérrez respond to an investigation initiated after a complaint filed on January 6.

Accompanied by police from the Anti-Corruption Directorate (Dircocor), they went to the headquarters of the Transportation Sub-department.

In 2017, the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office also initiated investigations in the municipal assistant management for alleged irregularities in the issuance of taxi credentials.
