Poetry Ignites: Get Lit and Distinguished Guests Take the Stage at LAist
Emerging voices are set to reverberate through Pasadena on January 10th, 2025, as LAist presents "A Night of Spoken Word" featuring Get Lit – Words Ignite! The evening will be a showcase of vibrant poetry, bringing together young talents from Get Lit, acclaimed local artists, and internationally recognized poet Yazmin-Monet Watkins. Guiding the journey through spoken word will be host Tiffany Snow.
Doors open at 6 p.m., welcoming attendees with music curated by a live DJ and a chance to mingle over drinks. The captivating spoken word performances begin at 7 p.m., promising an unforgettable experience.
