The Municipal Field of La Frontera in El Hierro will host from this weekend the play-off for promotion to Second Division B with the presence of CD Marino (Tenerife), SD Tenisca (La Palma) plus UD San Fernando and UD Tamaraceite (Gran Canaria ). On Saturday at 11.00 hours, CD Marino and Tamaraceite will be measured, one day later, and with the same schedule, SD Tenisca and San Fernando will play. The grand final that will decide which team will be promoted to the bronze category of Spanish soccer is expected to be played on Sunday 26.
For weeks there has been speculation about the possibility that the three games to be played could have the presence of the public in the stands. The municipal field has a capacity of almost 700 people, which can be covered by 50%. Finally, the fans who consider it appropriate will be able to support their team if they consider it appropriate.
In other communities that also host the promotion phase, the presence of spectators has already been confirmed following a health protocol. For example, Mérida, which will be the headquarters of the Extremadura teams, as confirmed by the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Junta de Extremadura, Nuria Flores Redondo.
