We can finally see more clearly! This Tuesday at a press conference, the president of the National Basketball League (LNB), Alain Béral, unveiled the outcome of the elite championship. At the end of the regular season, a final phase will take place, in accordance with the vote in the general assembly, held on February 22.
Last minute accommodations
The last reservations examined, the formula has been adapted. “We listened very carefully to the arguments of each other, in particular the players but also the union of clubs, coaches, presidents … The management committee decided to maintain what had been voted in February and we are proud to offer an end-of-season event to designate a champion of France with the public and the atmosphere, “said Alain Béral. While specifying: “We have made arrangements, to avoid the sequence of three matches in three days”.
Final 4 in Rouen
Quarter-finals, in a dry match, will take place with the four best-ranked teams at the end of the regular season, Sunday 20 and Monday 21 June (one broadcast on La Chaîne L’Equipe, three on Ma Chaîne Sport ). A Final 4 will follow at the Kindarena in Rouen. With two semi-finals, Thursday June 24 (4 p.m. and 9 p.m.). Then the final, Saturday June 26 (time to be defined, in the afternoon). These last three meetings will also be broadcast live on La Chaîne L’Equipe.
A minimum of 3,000 spectators is expected for Final 4, “maybe 5,000”, hopes Alain Béral.
