“According to preliminary data, the attacker’s profit was more than UAH 15 million,” the police said.
During searches in the house of the defendant, the police seized the equipment that was used to organize the technical infrastructure.
Criminal proceedings have been opened on h. 3 tbsp. 176 (violation of copyright and related rights) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
“The defendant faces up to six years in prison. Now the issue of announcing suspicion to a man is being decided,” the police said.
