With the conclusion of the winter graduation sessions of the University of Insubria of Varese, 60 new healthcare professionals will contribute to strengthening the ranks of the Order of Healthcare Technicians of Medical Radiology and Technical Healthcare Professions, Rehabilitation and Prevention.
In particular, there are twelve Medical Radiology Healthcare Technicians, Seven Biomedical Laboratory Healthcare Technicians, four Circulatory Pathophysiology and Cardiovascular Perfusion Technicians, eighteen Professional Educators and nineteen Dental Hygienists.
«I express my warmest congratulations to the new graduates – declared Elena Cossa, President of the Order of Healthcare Technicians of Medical Radiology and Technical Healthcare Professions, Rehabilitation and Prevention of the province of Varese – these young professionals, the result of a fruitful collaboration between our Order and the University of Insubria, they represent the future of the healthcare professions. I am sure that they will be able to put the skills acquired to good use and contribute significantly to the development of our Healthcare System. Special thanks go to the Directors of Professional Teaching for their constant commitment to training new generations of highly qualified professionals.”
In a historical moment in which the need for healthcare is constantly growing, the entry of these young professionals represents a concrete response to the needs of our territory. With their commitment and skills, they will help ensure quality healthcare for all citizens, thus contributing to improving the quality of life of our community.
Much still needs to be done to ensure a sustainable future for our healthcare system. Despite the commitment of these new professionals, the data shows us a shortage of graduates in the healthcare professions. It is essential to invest in policies that encourage enrollment in these degree courses and that enhance the role of healthcare professionals, in order to respond to the growing needs of the population and guarantee quality care.
