Nasser Al-Qasabi is considered one of the most important comedians in the Gulf and the Arab world. He is famous for the Saudi comedy series “Tash Ma Tash” with Abdullah Al-Sadhan, and together they presented 18 parts for two decades, and the work became one of the most famous Gulf series that achieved great popularity, until they came together again. In 2020, to present a new part of the series, entitled “Ahla Ma Tash”, in which they reviewed a group of social issues that concern Saudi and Gulf society in general in a comic way.
Al-Qasabi continued his artistic career by presenting comedies that discuss important social issues in Ramadan every year, through several series, including: “Sylvie” and “Al-Asouf”.
In the various parts of “Tash Ma Tash”, Al-Qasabi embodied about 540 different personalities, through which he was able to leave a mark in Gulf drama, especially in comedies, as he was known for his spontaneity and cheerful personality, and his professional embodiment of characters with spontaneous comedy.
Al-Qasabi did not stop at the success he achieved in “Tash Ma Tash”, but rather presented a number of other series, some of which were funny “sketches”, in which he relied on the comedy of the situation, and others reviewed through them social and humanitarian issues in a comic framework, including : “Selfie”, “Al-Asouf”, “Exit 7” and “No Roaming”.
Al-Qasabi also starred in other works in which his roles varied between drama and comedy, such as “Al-Sarraj”, “Innocent Eyes”, “The Palace”, “A Little Salt”, “Stay with Me”, “Black and White”, “37 Degrees Celsius” and “The World”. Fortunes”, “We are all children of a village”, “Abu Al-Malayn”, and others.
