The Producers Guild Award for Best Film goes to ‘Everything Everywhere at Once’

At the Producers Guild of America (PGA) awards ceremony on Saturday in Beverly Hills, California, the tape “Everything Everywhere All At Once” was awarded with the best picture award, strengthening the chances of this film, which has already received several prestigious awards, in the competition for “Oscars”.

The PGA award is considered the most accurate indication of who will receive the best picture Oscar, Hollywood’s most coveted award.

Of the 15 films that have received the PGA’s top prize in recent years, 12 were also awarded the Best Picture Oscar, including the last two winners – CODA and Nomadland.

The best documentary film award at Saturday’s PGA ceremony was awarded to the tape “Navalny” about the imprisoned oppositionist Alexei Navalny in Russia.

Director Guillermo del Toro’s “Pinocchio” won the PGA Best Animated Feature on Saturday.

In the television categories, The White Lotus won best drama, The Bear won best comedy, and miniseries The Dropout won best limited series.

PGA winners are selected by a vote of more than 8,000 producers. Actor Tom Cruise was honored at the ceremony for his lifetime contribution to the film industry.
