A new feature has emerged on the WhatsApp side. According to information shared by WABetaInfo, the popular messaging application WhatsApp is preparing to offer the “Message Correction” feature for Android users. As is known, the platform previously offered its users the “Delete on both sides” functionality in order to prevent false or incorrect messages. The new feature should work similarly to this feature.
VISIT WHATSAPP’S “EDIT MESSAGE” FUNCTION
The “Correction Messages” feature was seen in the beta version of the popular WhatsApp messaging application. As the name suggests, this feature will allow you to edit sent messages at a later time. This feature, announced by tech giant WABetaInfo, is expected to provide the user with the experience to change typos.
The “Correction message” function will be limited in time, as in “Delete on both sides”. The user can edit the message sent within 15 minutes at the latest. When the time runs out, the sender will not be able to interfere with the message.
The “Delete on both sides” feature was also limited to a short period of time when offered to users. This period was subsequently extended. In the “Correction Message” function, there is no precise information on whether or not this period is extended.
THE CORRECT MESSAGE WILL BE CLEAR
Again, according to the statement, the message that was corrected within 15 minutes will have the phrase “Correct” in the lower right corner. The user will be able to easily understand that the message has been corrected.
