These days, the newest season of “Prisoners at the Fort” is airing on the streaming service Pluto-TV, where a new group of celebrity participants battle through demanding challenges at the legendary Fort Boyard in France.
The tasks that the popular program offers are by no means easy, and not all participants make it through them unscathed. Neither understand what the task actually entails.

Professional dancer Nadya Khamitskaya (40) experienced that in this year’s season. The “Fangene på fortet” recording was not completely problem-free for the 40-year-old, and some misunderstandings quickly arose when she ran on a treadmill.
It resulted in a TV moment she has dreaded ever since the program was recorded last summer.
Still embarrassed
The former “Skal vi danse” professional dancer was tasked with running on a treadmill at the same time as she must grab hold of buckets hanging from the ceiling.
However, “Everything” went wrong when she started running on the treadmill – backwards.
Khamitskaya’s teammates, “Exit” actress Sonja Wanda (39), and former “Shall we dance” colleague Egor Filipenko (34), stood on the sidelines and watched the 40-year-old run backwards as best she could.
Several persistent attempts were also made to tell the professional dancer that she was running the wrong way.
Does not hear the message from his teammates – runs the wrong way. Watch the clip here:

Despite her teammates’ desperate cries, Khamitskaya did not hear the message. In addition to a lot of screaming, the episode also led to a lot of laughter within the team. But the 40-year-old laughed little of the incident.
Even several months later, it is difficult for the professional dancer to talk about the incident. When Nettavisen had a chat with Khamitskaya earlier this month, she did not hide that she is still embarrassed by the experience.
– Ugh, she said, pounding her hands on her forehead in despair.
– I’m really dreading this going on TV, Khamitskaya told Nettavisen in connection with a press conference for the programme.
The TV profile also admitted to Nettavisen that, ahead of the press conference, she had dreaded talking about the treadmill blunder with the press.
– I try to own it. But it costs a lot, actually, she laughed.
Never experienced anything like it
The Russian-born Khamitskaya further stated that she did not realize what she had done until after the task on the treadmill was completed. She didn’t even realize that she was running backwards, the only thing she noticed was that it was difficult to run on the treadmill.
According to the “Shall we dance” profile, the experience was even more embarrassing as she had seen the same exercise performed several times earlier in the program.
– The worst thing is that I have seen this so many times, but when I entered that room I didn’t think about anything other than not having to hurt myself. So I just started running.

The 40-year-old has taken part in “Shall we dance” for several years, and it is not unnatural that there will be a bit of banging and falling in the TV 2 programme. But according to Khamitskaya, she has never encountered such an embarrassing incident on TV before.
– I’ve hurt myself a lot on TV and I’ve done a lot of weird things on TV, but I haven’t made a fool of myself like that before, said a still embarrassed Khamitskaya.
As mentioned, she has long dreaded the TV moment, and jokes that she has taken some measures to avoid being associated with the episode with the treadmill.
– I have dyed my hair dark so that people will not recognize me. But I hope it will be a little fun to watch anyway.
Got permanent damage
But the story of Khamitskaya’s backwards running does not end there. When she finally finished the challenge and stepped off the treadmill, things went wrong again.
As mentioned, she was very busy not hurting herself, but that didn’t last long.

– I fell and managed to slam my hand into the door and sprained my finger, said the 40-year-old and added:
– My finger became completely crooked.
She then received medical attention and took an X-ray which showed that the finger was not broken. But despite a sprain, Khamitskaya’s finger is still not quite right to this day.
– It’s crooked, and I don’t think the finger will change direction anytime soon, she laughed.
