The princely family in Monaco: – Surprises with private Easter picture

At Easter, many royal houses in Europe have a habit of sharing pleasant greetings with the people. Here at home, King Harald (84) was out early to wish the people a happy Easter – and in recent days, there have been generous greetings from Denmark and the UK as well.

Now adds the princely family of Monaco into the queue. On Instagram, Princess Charlene (43) has shared a nice Easter photo with her 229,000 followers. In the picture, the princess is sitting with her husband Prince Albert (63) and the two twins Gabriella (6) and Jacques (6) while they are painting Easter eggs.

The image has received over 23,000 likes in one day.

«Wishing everyone a blessed Easter. Happy Easter egg hunt “, writes the princess under the cozy family photo.

Opened up

In March, Prince Albert told candid about life as a father of small children in a rare interview with the newly launched magazine People Royals.

In the interview, Albert revealed that Jacques is more shy and calmer than his sister, but pointed out that he can come up with some funny pranks. Princess Gabriella described him as a little more outgoing and talkative.

– She is a character who loves to dance and sing. She has no nerves when it comes to standing in front of people, he said.

Like many other families, the prince and princess have experienced having home school during the pandemic. In the interview, the monarch explained that the twins are very curious about geography and science, and they have wanted to know everything about the sea, the planets and the solar system.

In the interview, they also touched on the twins’ royal titles, and Prince Albert said that they want the children to enjoy their childhood.

– It is basically just to explain to them in the simplest possible way what royal duties are about. We will not make an entire process out of it or explain to them step by step what is expected of them, he said.

The prince also pointed out that they do not want the twins to be too much in the spotlight.

– It is something we decide on from time to time, so that it remains something special for them, said the 63-year-old.

Prince Albert also has children Jazmin Grace Rotolo (29) and Alexandre Coste (17). Both were born out of wedlock and therefore have no right to inherit the throne.
