Prima Television has made its new video library available Prima+. Due to its deployment, the iPrima.cz homepage was down all day. The new service replaced the original main television website.
Viewers who have previously registered on iPrima.czthey can use the same credentials.
If iPrima.cz users paid a monthly subscription for CZK 89, they automatically receive the highest tariff at the unchanged price, i.e. with a permanent discount of more than 40% compared to the regular price. Anyone who used an older tariff (monthly subscription, half-yearly or annual subscription) should find instructions in their e-mail inbox.
The basic version with advertising is free, in addition to the archive of broadcast programs, it offers over 150 Czech and foreign titles. Live broadcasts of Prima stations are also available. It is possible to create 5 family profiles. But the image quality is only SD (standard definition).
In the Light version for CZK 99 per month, there are half as many advertising spots. For this amount, the user will be able to watch pre-premieres of TV series, shows filmed exclusively for Prima+, access to a larger catalog of Czech and foreign titles, and the image quality will be switched to HD.
The highest tariff is Premium for 149 CZK per month, in which case it does not contain ads at all. In addition to the benefits of the Light tariff, the highest resolution Full HD image will be available.
As of February 8, the operation of the iPrima Video rental service (i.e. short-term movie rental for a one-time payment) completely jumped.
Prima+ works on the web, in the mobile application of the same name for iOS (14.0 and higher) and Android (6.0 and higher), via HbbTV or in the new smart TV application for Samsung TVs (from 2018). More supported devices will be added over time.
If you still have the original version of the iPrima app on your device and your phone has the required operating system version, update the app in the normal way in your phone’s app settings.
