The Price of Oil in E-Commerce is Almost 3 Times What It Should Be, How come? page all

JAKARTAKOMPAS.com – Earlier this week, the government through the Ministry of Trade launched packaged cooking oil products, Oily for Rp. 14,000 per liter. However, according to Kompas.com monitoring, the price of oil sold in Indonesia e-commerce has increased many times.

In Tokopedia, if you search with the keyword Oil, you will be directed to an online shop page that sells the government product for Rp. 35,000 per liter. However, the price is different from the product description, which is Rp. 35,000 for 2.5 liters of Oilita.

1 liter costs IDR 14,000. This means that with IDR 35,000 you will get 2.5 liters. Especially around my area. This is a special order for a shop promo hahahaha,” wrote the product description from the online shop in Jambi City, quoted by Kompas.com, Saturday (9/7/2022).
