/ world today news/ The price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) light crude oil continues to fall.
Crude futures for December delivery fell 2.24 percent to $83.85 a barrel, hitting their lowest level since September 2011.
The main reasons for this are reduced demand amid an oversupply in the market and forecasts of a slowdown in economic growth worldwide.
