The Price of 12 Kg LPG at the Agent Increases to IDR 187 Thousand, at the Stall Will Be Like This

Jakarta

The owner of the gas stall will increase the price of non-subsidized LPG in the aftermath of Pertamina’s decision through PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Sub Holding Commercial & Trading PT Pertamina (Persero) which officially raises the price of non-subsidized LPG today, Sunday (27/02/2022).

Launching the official Pertamina website, there is a list of the latest non-subsidized LPG selling prices at the agent level as of February 27, 2022. For areas on the island of Java such as Banten, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java to NTB the price of 12 kg LPG reaches Rp. 187,000.

The owner of a gas shop in Pondok Aren, South Tangerang, Wawan, said he did not know if Pertamina had raised the price of non-subsidized LPG to Rp. 187,000 today. However, he emphasized that with the latest price, he would inevitably increase the price.

“I usually take 12 kilograms of gas for Rp. 161 thousand, selling the standard price of Rp. 175 thousand. If it goes up (selling it) it can be Rp. 200 thousand,” he said when met by AFP

Meanwhile, Wawan will sell non-subsidized LPG at the old price. According to the stock in the shop.

He added that consumers of the 12 kilograms of non-subsidized LPG that he sells are usually bought by those who live in housing.

“This increase is a question mark, whether he wants to accept it or not. As for the previous increase, in December, what do you want to say,” he said.

Wawan admitted that he did not want to be too bothered by this 12 kilogram increase.

“Our people yesterday with the previous increase, it was difficult to sell it, this increase, yes, is very stupid,” he said.

Meanwhile, another gas shop owner, Dewi said that three days ago she bought 12 kilograms of non-subsidized LPG gas from an agent for Rp 160 thousand and resold it for Rp 165 thousand.

With an increase of Rp. 187 thousand, Dewi will make price adjustments. Even so, he did not set the price as well, because usually there is a discussion with his agent about the selling price of LPG.

Possibly, Dewi will sell her 12 kilograms of non-subsidized LPG later and will increase the gas with a price difference of Rp. 5 thousand from the capital.

“Indeed, so far the sale has taken a profit of Rp. 5 thousand because the big tube (12 kilograms) is a slow moving item. For the slow moving one, the profit is a little big. While the small tube (3 Kilograms) makes a small profit of Rp. 2 mothers, because the buyer has a fast rhythm. , said Dewi.

Dewi explained that consumers of 12 kilograms of LPG are usually housewives. They are looking for safer tubes. Meanwhile, 3 kilograms of LPG are usually purchased by traders, because of that the turnover is fast.
