I live fuel prices seems to have decreased. Entering December, only one type of Vivo fuel whose price dropped, i.e. RON 95, from IDR 14,830 per liter to IDR 14,160 per liter. So on Sunday (4/12/2022), the Vivo fuel price appears to be adjusting again.
According to detikOto’s monitoring at Vivo gas stations in the Tebet area, 95 RON fuel, originally sold at Rp. 14,160 per litre, increased to Rp. 14,600 per litre. So 92 RON fuel actually decreased by 140 IDR per litre. Meanwhile, Revvo 90, which contains RON equivalent to Pertalite, costs Rp. 600 per litre.
Below are the prices of Vivo fuel that have undergone adjustments:
- Revvo 90: Rp 12,000 per litre
- Revvo 92: Rp 14,000 per litre
- Revvo 95: Rp 14,600 per litre
Thus, the price of Vivo RON 90 fuel is approaching Pertalite, which is currently sold at IDR 10,000 per litre. Vivo fuel price RON 90 is even cheaper than its competitor BP 90, which costs IDR 14,050 per liter. Yes it is different than Pertalite, both Revvo 90 and BP 90 are generic types of fuel which are not subsidised. Therefore, the sale price is determined by the Corporate Body and communicated to the Minister.
The JBU fuel price tag usually follows developments in world oil prices. When it is rising, the price will also have risen. Similarly, when it goes down, it’s also possible for JBU fuel prices to go down.
Unlike the case of Pertalite which is classified as a Special Allocation Fuel Type (JBKP). The price of Pertalite is set by the government and receives compensation. As to what is meant by compensation is the funds paid by the government to commercial entities for the lack of revenue of the commercial entities due to government pricing policy.
Also, the price of the Revvo 92, which is also rated JBU, is only slightly different from the Pertamax. The difference is only 100 IDR per litre. For your information, Pertamax currently sells for IDR 13,900 per litre.
