From investigations into Don Massimo’s mysterious past to the love story between Marco and Valentina: things to know about the last chapter of the Rai 1 fiction

In the early evening of Thursday 26 May, it airs on Rai 1 the grand finale of the thirteenth season of Don Matteo. Initially scheduled for June 2, the last episode of the popular fiction was brought forward by a week, after the double date on May 17 and 29. So here’s everything you need to know about the latest installment of the series.
Don Matteo 13, the previews of the last episode
L’last episode from Don Matteo 13 is full of surprises and twists, especially as regards the new parish priest of Spoleto, Don Massimo. After having fought hard to be accepted by his parishioners (and by Marshal Cecchini) as a substitute for Don Matteothe priest played by Raoul Bova is at the center of an investigation by the Carabinieri, led by the captain Anna Olivieri. The latter and her collaborators, in fact, are busy digging into her past to find out if she has something to hide. Also because, before becoming a priest, Don Massimo was himself a Carabiniere of the special departments from mysterious past. Despite his initial distrust of the new parish priest, the Marshal Cecchini he realizes that he is now fond of Don Massimo, and during all the investigations he shows him his own solidarity and your closeness. The marshal may not have the same bond with him as he had with Don Matteo, but this does not mean that they cannot be friends.
During the investigation of Don Massimo, new details also emerge regarding his relationship with Don Matteo: when the latter mysteriously disappeared from Spoleto, the only one who knew where he was was the newcomer. For this, it is likely that the past of the two was somehow legato: all that remains is to see the season finale to find out the whole truth (and if this opens up the possibility for a return of Terence Hill).
Meanwhile, Marco e Valentina they continue to enjoy their love story. Despite the Colonel Anceschi, the girl’s father, did not take the news well, the two seem more and more in love. In fact, it seems that the PM has put aside his doubts about a relationship with a woman much younger than him. Bad news, therefore, for Anna about her: her chances of regaining Marco, with whom she is still in love, are becoming increasingly limited.
