The presidential advisor reveals the truth about the second wave of the Corona virus

Dr. Muhammad Awad Taj al-Din, the president’s advisor for health and prevention affairs, said that we cannot say that we entered a second wave of the Corona virus, because the current wave has not ended, explaining that we still have cases that have decreased, but there is an increase in the numbers in the past days and we were expecting that. Strongly because the same thing happened on the days of Eid al-Fitr, and on the holidays there is heavy movement between the governorates and large gatherings on the coasts and beaches.

He explained, during a phone call to the “90 minutes” program, on the “axis” satellite channel, with the media, Osama Kamal, that the second wave of Corona in the fall is an expected possibility, because it is an infectious disease that affects the respiratory system and its symptoms are similar to seasonal influenza and its spread increases in autumn and winter, and the increase in numbers And there is confusion between seasonal influenza and the virus Ward.

He stressed that our first and main line of defense is strict precautionary precautions and adherence to them and all the rules and instructions, explaining that the issue is not breathing fresh air, but gatherings on the sea and in restaurants and family meetings.

The president’s advisor confirmed that in the past period we were recruited to protect Egypt, our people and the homeland from this dreaded virus, adding: “Our Lord has honored us.
