The time has come for us to turn the tide, for everyone to take part in our common cause, to regain the state, to establish the law that protects freedom. To defend the freedom without which there is no dignity. The freedom to make our dreams come true here in the homeland, not to chase them far abroad. This was said by President Rumen Radev in his speech on the occasion of 184 years since the birth of Vasil Levski in Karlovo.
“For many years, time turned us around. We endured, endured, adapted, survived, reconciled, emigrated and returned to leave again,” he added. According to Radev, many Bulgarians now understand that deeds are needed, not words.
It’s time to make Levski’s dream republic come true. To be pure and holy is a goal, a horizon. We will hardly reach him, but we will always go to him, because this is our duty as Bulgarians. So that we can come true here
dreams of our children growing up here, said the head of state.
