The president of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Chamber of Commerce, Santiago Sesé, bets on a rise in the Interprofessional Minimum Wage “moderate” and consider that something like this would have to be done “depending on the territory” since, according to Sesé, “The per capita income of the Basque Country is not the same as that of Extremadura” where the SMI of 950 euros per month “is having a totally different impact”.

The cameral president recalls that the Spanish territories “they are complex” and considers it essential to seek measures because, a linear increase in the Minimum Wage is having consequences in certain sectors, such as the farming.
