The president of the Russian Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, compared the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to the late leader of al-Qaeda Osama bin Laden, accusing him of “having given orders to carry out terrorist attacks”.
“The president of Ukraine, by giving the order to carry out terrorist attacks, behaves like Osama bin Laden and other international terrorists. And those Western politicians who support the Zelensky regime are actually sponsoring terrorism,” Volodin said.
According to him, Zelensky’s actions have only brought “suffering” to the Ukrainian people, who have become “hostage to his Nazi policies”, he also announced in his Telegram profile, after which he added that “Russia’s patience is running out”.
Finally, Volodin concluded with the famous phrase that “there is no negotiation with the terrorists”.
The Duma speaker comments come the day after Russia bombed a number of Ukrainian cities in retaliation for the Crimean bridge explosion. As a result of the missile attacks, at least 20 people died and hundreds were injured. The attack was described by Kiev as an act of war crime, as all the dead and wounded were civilians, he recalls 20 minutes.
