J. Allen Brack, president of the Blizzard studio beadta resignation, which has erupted in recent weeks, is linked to sexual harassment scandal latest moment.
Brack arrived in 2019 Mike Morhaime in his place, before that he worked for more than a decade World of Warcraft as a leading producer. In place Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra is coming as co-chairs, who will jointly take over the chairmanship and CEO. Oneal will be the first man in the company to take up a leadership position as a woman.
The fact that, according to the documents in the lawsuit against Blizzard, he himself was aware of the conditions and abuses prevailing at the company, but he did not give adequate reactions and measures to the signals of his colleagues, may have played a role in the ex-president’s decision.

The California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) recently sued after two years of investigation launched against Activision Blizzard on charges of harassment and unequal treatment. The DFEH reports that there is a “frat boy” culture within the company, meaning that female employees are sexually harassed and paid less. Ladies with colored skin must also tolerate racist manifestations.
