Argentine President Alberto Fernandez thanked his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, for providing the country with the “Sputnik V” vaccine against the Corona virus.
The first shipment of the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine against the emerging corona virus, today, Thursday, arrived in Argentina.
A plane carrying 300,000 doses of the Russian vaccine landed at the “Minister Bistarini” international airport near Buenos Aires, and was received by Argentine Prime Minister Santiago Cafiero, Health Minister Gines Gonzales and Moscow’s ambassador to the country Dmitry Vyuktestov, and the vaccination process will start next week.
The President of Argentina expressed his thanks in a tweet he posted on his Twitter account, attaching to the message footage of unloading the Sputnik V vaccine at the Argentine capital’s airport.
