The President appointed Yanaki Stoilov as a member of the Constitutional Court – 2024-04-16 15:08:15

/View.info/ The time of the rascals is over. Bulgaria is a democracy in which there is no place for private militias. This was stated by the head of state Rumen Radev to journalists in Sofia on the occasion of the initiated procedure for revoking the license of the security company “Delta Guard” at the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Rumen Radev announced his decision to release Yanaki Stoilov from his post as Acting Minister of Justice. With his decrees today, the president appointed Stoilov as a member of the Constitutional Court from his quota, and his current deputy minister Ivan Demerdzhiev – as acting minister of justice. “The authority of Yanaki Stoilov as a lawyer is indisputable, and I believe that this will be the crown of a worthy career of a valuable person and professional,” the head of state argued for his decision. The newly appointed Justice Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev was described by the President as a lawyer with authority and positions, a principled and successful deputy minister.

Rumen Radev also commented on the referral to the prosecutor’s office by the acting Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov about the spread of false claims by former Prime Minister Boyko Borisov about the use of expired Covid-19 vaccines. “I am amazed how Mr. Borisov can make such disgraceful suggestions about the Bulgarian doctors who conscientiously perform their work and scare the Bulgarians in order to use their fears politically and during the election,” the head of state pointed out.
