The premiere of the production “Smiļģis” / Article has finally been experienced

The production “Smiļģis” has finally had its premiere. The show was created as a dedication to the centenary of the Daile Theater and the Latvian state, but in the autumn due to the pandemic it until the audience did not reach. –

The production reveals six Smilgis faces to the audience, and there will be six Smilgis on stage. The show will feature rebirth, rebirth, supernatural, and human Smile. He was also called the actor of ecstasy, a genius who created the Daile Theater a hundred years ago.

The director of the show Viesturs Kairišs has brought together scenographer Ieva Jurjānis, costume designer Ilze Vītoliņš, lighting artist Oskars Pauliņš and choreographer Jan Jacuk. Cast: Artūrs Skrastiņš, Lauris Dzelzītis, Gints Grāvelis, Kaspars Dumburs, Kārlis Arnolds Avots, Toms Veličko, Kristīne Nevarauska, Lidija Pupure, Ilze Ķuzule-Skrastiņa, Rēzija Kalniņa, Dārta Daneviča, Ieva Segliņa.
