New Music Festival “Arena” Facebook page The premiere of the new audiovisual work “Hic et nunc. Here and Now” by the Latvian composer and audiovisual artist Ieva Klingenberg, who lives in Italy, will take place on Wednesday, October 28, at 7 pm. –
The stopping points of the new opus are reflections on running time, different winds and camouflage, heritage of ancient cultures and timeless values. Its seven parts at the macro level reflect the spiritual transformation of humanity from the current social distancing to social harmony.
The author explained: “As you know, seven is such a magical number in many religions and cultures. It’s like perfection. There are seven days, seven colors of the rainbow, seven free arts. Each part will be like a theatrical sketch. ”
Ieva Klingenberga is studying for a doctorate in Trieste, Italy. She found her way in composition – to combine music and video art – already at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music.
The music of the young composer has been performed at festivals and concerts in Latvia, various European countries, the USA and China.
