At the beginning of the week, the Prague Stock Exchange strengthened by 0.90% to 1,341. The driving force behind the growth was clearly Čez, which jumped by 5.01% to CZK 765 with a volume of CZK 452 million. This happened after energy commodities, including el. Energy continues to grow to record levels. Česká zbrojovka then strengthened by 1.74% to CZK 586. Banking issues developed mixedly, Erste Bank strengthened by 0.10% to CZK 960, Moneta Money Bank improved by 0.28% to CZK 89, while Komerční banka decreased -0.23% to CZK 879. Insurance company Vig increased by 1.26% to CZK 643. On the other hand, Avast registered a decrease of -1.08% to CZK 165 and Philip Morris weakened by -1.76% to CZK 15,600.
