At the end of the week, the Prague Stock Exchange weakened by 0.89% and the PX index ended at 1,361.73 points. On a weekly basis, the index weakened by 1%. The traded volume reached CZK 525 million, with the largest activity being in shares of ČEZ and Komerční banka. The banking stock weakened today by 1.39% to CZK 923. It is clear from the higher volumes that after the decisive day for the dividend, there is a certain regrouping of positions among investors. Taking into account the dividend, the exchange rate remains relatively close to the local maximum. Other banking stocks were in the red as the financial sector was one of the weakest in Europe. Erste Group weakened by 1.48%, Moneta lost 1%. On the other hand, the VIG insurance group made a profit (+ 1.19%) when its Hungarian branch signed a partnership agreement with the CIG Pannonia insurance company. CEZ, which lost 1.23%, also lost ground. Big moves were still visible in the Start market. Newcomer Fixed.zone ended today at CZK 500 (+ 4.17%) and has strengthened by an unbelievable 125% since the start of trading earlier this week. In the context of the valuation of other companies in the Start market, eMan remained significantly undervalued and investors began to notice this issue as well. The exchange rate strengthened by 28% to 118 CZK today. Yesterday’s information about the development of the cryptocurrency RPG game could also have been behind the growth.
