We would like to inform public transport passengers and drivers of the traffic restrictions related to the half marathon that is taking place on Saturday, April 6. The prestigious international race starts on the Bubenské nábřeží next to the Holešovická market, but its route will also lead through our city district. It is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m., and is expected to end around 1:00 p.m. A record participation of more than 15,000 registered runners is expected.
The roads where the competitors will run will be closed to all traffic during the race. Closures in Prague 5 include Janáček embankment, Dienzenhofer gardens and Zborovská, Svornosti and Strakonická streets. A parking ban will also apply in the affected areas in advance.
Traffic during the race will be controlled by the Police of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Municipal Police of Prague. Streets and intersections along the race route will be gradually closed from 9:00 a.m. They will be released again as soon as possible. According to the organizers, the runners should move in the territory of Prague 5 between 10:11 a.m. and 11:32 a.m.

On Friday, April 5 until 6:00 p.m., the traffic information line is available free of charge 800 165 102. On the day of the race, i.e. Saturday, April 6, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. it will also be possible to use the line 800 100 991.
