Hensat said that Prabowo’s decision to choose Jokowi as his vice presidential candidate seemed to justify all means. He reminded that this is a step that is not right.
“So it seems like he justifies all means, even asking his president, his current superior to be his subordinate, to be his deputy. I don’t think it’s right for Pak Prabowo to do that,” he said.
On the other hand, Hensat believes that Jokowi will not downgrade his version by continuing his period of power by sitting in the vice presidency chair. Hensat estimated the move would cloud Jokowi’s political career.
“To this day, I believe Pak Jokowi is not interested in demoting himself from president to vice president. Not only is he against the 1945 Constitution, but he will also set a bad record in history and, of course, cloud his brilliant political career. – brilliant.” , he said.
“I believe 2024 is the right time for Mr. Jokowi to step down, with a soft landing, etching gold ink with his successful developments including infrastructure and others,” he said.
Furthermore, according to him, this duet scheme does not guarantee that he will win the presidential election of 2024. Hensat hopes that those who want this duet to happen will not take more serious steps.
