In addition, the development of Covid-19 handling cooperation between RI and China, the defense cooperation of the two countries. Also discussed are educational collaborations and the latest issues in the Asia Pacific Region.
Furthermore, a meeting was also held between the Ministers of Defense of the two countries and the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan in the Indonesian Defense Minister’s Office, which was followed by dinner.
When receiving the visit of the Chinese Defense Minister’s entourage, Prabowo was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia Sakti Wahyu Trenggono along with TNI Commander Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army Lieutenant General TNI Moch. The Chinese Defense Minister and his delegation arrived in Indonesia on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport using a special PLA Air Force plane from Beijing.
The meeting of the Defense Ministers of the two countries consisted of a bilateral meeting in the Bhineka Tunggal Ika Hall which was preceded by a preliminary meeting with the Indonesian Defense Minister, the TNI Commander, and the Chiefs of Staff.
