The PP candidate asks the mayor for two-way debates in the media

JAN, 23 (EUROPA PRESS)

The PP candidate for Mayor of Jan, Agustn Gonzlez, has promised to participate in as many electoral debates as are called by the media in the capital of Jaén and has asked the mayor and PSOE candidate, Julio Milln, to accept the debate format. two to be able to confront “face to face programs, projects and horizons”.

In this way, and through debates for two, González has indicated that it will be possible to show “which project is called Jan and which project is called Sánchez, nothing better than a debate to clarify it” in view of the municipal elections that will be held next 28 of May.

“For me there is no problem. On the contrary, I think it is a very necessary debate, the more information the people of Jaén have, the better for Jan,” said the PP candidate, who stressed that the electoral debate for two will allow the electorate to “distinguish between the old socialist policy, which explains Jan’s depopulation and unemployment”, and the popular program, “whose hallmarks are the creation of companies, support for the self-employed and the generation of employment”.

“I hope that Milln agrees to debate, both with me alone and with the other candidates,” said González, adding that “if the mayor refuses, he would reveal his fear of the debate and would be contemptuous of the huge number of voters in the capital” .

On the other hand, González, has committed to the Association of Self-Employed Workers (ATA) to apply measures that facilitate the activity of this group, “devastated by the mixed effect of the economic crisis and the fiscal pressure of the central government and the City Council. “. At this point, he has indicated that he will apply these measures from the specific councilor for the Self-Employed and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) that he plans to establish if he is elected mayor.

At the meeting, which took place this Thursday at the ATA headquarters, the organization’s general secretary, José Luis Perea, listed the main problems of the group, of which Agustn González took note, whose proposals to solve them have been committed to reflecting them in the popular electoral program.
