[OSEN=정승우 기자] The Power Enhancement Committee will hold its second meeting on the 24th.

The Korea Football Association (KFA) officially announced on the 22nd, “The second meeting of the Power Enhancement Committee will be held at the Soccer Center on the afternoon of the 24th this week.”

KFA notified, “There will be no media work (sketches, result briefings, press releases, etc.) in private for the second meeting. Therefore, we ask for your cooperation in refraining from entering the site.”

KFA added, “After holding the future meeting, when the final results are drawn, a separate media meeting will be held to announce the results, including a progress report on the contents of each meeting,” and added, “The meeting schedule will be announced later.”

Meanwhile, KFA held the first private Power Enhancement Committee meeting at the Soccer Center on the 21st, presided over by the new Power Enhancement Committee Chairman Hae-seong Jeong, who was appointed on the 20th.

In addition to the new Chairman Chung, 8 of the 10 people newly named as members of the Power Strengthening Committee participated in the meeting. Go Jeong-woon (Gimpo FC coach), Park Joo-ho (commentator), Song Myeong-won (former Gwangju FC head coach), Yoon Deok-yeo (Sejong Sports Toto coach), Yoon Jeong-hwan (Gangwon FC coach), Lee Sang-gi (QMIT representative, former soccer player), Lee Young-jin (former Vietnam national team coach) and Jeon Gyeong-jun (professional soccer league technical committee chairman) attended. Commissioners Park Seong-bae (coach of Soongsil University) and Mi-yeon Lee (coach of Mungyeong Sangmu) were unable to attend due to their team schedules.

New Chairman Jeong explained that at the meeting on this day, various opinions were exchanged prior to a full-fledged selection of candidates for the vacant position as head coach of the Korean national soccer team.

At the briefing, new Chairman Chung announced eight qualities that the next national team coach must have. He said that the required managerial capabilities are: ▲First, tactical capabilities. He must be able to design and execute a game that suits the squad. ▲Second, it is related to training. We must be able to resolve issues related to weak positions. ▲Third, there must be a prestigious name. As a leader, you must be a person with accomplishments. ▲Fourth, career. ▲Fifth, communication skills. We must be able to discuss technical philosophy with the players as well as with the association. This also includes communication with age group national teams. ▲Sixth, leadership that can encompass the MZ generation. What kind of leadership you have in the current situation is important. ▲Seventh, the ability to assemble the best coaching staff.
